Thanks to everyone that came along to the Cardiff Crusaders Christmas party on 15 December. The stars of Slam Wrestling put on a great show at Rumney Legion and Mr Hedgehog, the club mascot, also made a guest appearance! The club were presented with a cheque for £250 at the recent Sparks in the Park 2013 grants evening, which took place at Cardiff Council Winter Wonderland. Cardiff Round Table, CapitalFM and Legal and General made contributions to 15 local organisations and individuals who make a difference in the Cardiff community. The U8s raised money for the club by staging a ‘Bail Me Out’ at Llanishen police station, organised by coach (and PCSO) Steve Westlake. The children were handcuffed, finger printed and locked in a cell for the afternoon. The children also got to meet armed response officers and police dog handlers. The Festival of Football will take place at Butlins Minehead Friday 2 - Monday 5 May. The tournament is one of the biggest youth football festivals in the UK.
