HOW TO BOOK ACCOMMODATION
Simply click the relevant link below to take you directly to the Butlins online booking system, where you will see all the accommodation options.

When making a booking, you will need to enter the full name and date of birth of each guest. For the lead person making the booking, an email address and postal address will be required. (The booking confirmation will be emailed to the lead guest.) A deposit of £30 per person is needed when making the reservation.

Booking ASAP is advisable in order to stand the best chance of getting your first choice accommodation.

AFTER BOOKING

It is important that we know who has booked, to ensure that we have sufficient players for each side and order the correct number of tour t-shirts for the children playing in the tournament

TRANSPORT
The club will cover the cost of 1 adult and 1 player to travel by bus (coach) to and from Minehead. Any additional family members who wish to travel by bus will be charged £10 per person. 

Please can you:

This will enable us to determine final numbers and book the buses.

Well done to all those that completed the 55 mile bike ride from Brecon to Cardiff on the Taff Trail. A great effort! Money raised will go towards the tour to Minehead next May. For all those that sponsored the riders, time to put your hands in your pockets!

Accommodation
ESF, the tournament organisers, have launched a new online booking system for the Festival of Football at Minehead. This is more efficient than the previous paper-based system. It will enable instant confirmed bookings to be made, rather than having to wait for confirmation from Butlins.

Each club will receive a Unique Accommodation Booking Link from ESF. All reservations made through this link will be associated with the club. This will allow Butlins to allocate accommodation as close together as possible.

How to Use the New Booking System
Each family (or group, e.g. if 2 families wish to share) will book their own accommodation.

The Unique Accommodation Booking Link for Cardiff Crusaders will be sent to coaches and parents as soon as it is made available by ESF. Simply click on the link, which will take you into the online booking system. You will be able to see all the accommodation options available to you, make your own reservation and pay your deposits. You will receive a booking confirmation and be able to pay your final balance in due course. (According to ESF’s terms and conditions, final payment is due 56 days prior to the start of the tournament.)

Some of you have already handed in deposits - these will be given back to you.

Accommodation on Offer
One of the main benefits of the new online system is that you will be able to see the full range of accommodation available, both self-catering and half-board. A list of the accommodation on offer and prices can be found on the ESF website.

Further information about the types of accommodation can be found on the Butlins website. In addition, look for the link “COMPARE ROOMS AND APARTMENTS” for an overview of the range of accommodation provided. Please note that the child rate is for ages 2–14 years.

Please be aware that an under-occupancy supplement will apply if less than the maximum number of people stays in a particular type of accommodation, e.g. 3 people in a 2 bedroom (4 person) apartment. The minimum occupancy does not include infants under the age of 2, who go free if you bring along your own cot. You may also hire a cot for £10 (linen is not provided) or pay a £35 supplement if an infant under 2 sleeps in a bed.

Half-board
This consists of breakfast and evening meal. Evening meal is included on the day of arrival (Friday), but not if you arrive after the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is included on the day of departure (Monday).

The club AGM will take place 6pm Sunday 8th September at the Monkstone Inn, followed by a BBQ and live music.

This is an opportunity to find out what we plan for the new season and to get any questions answered you may have. It is also an opportunity to discuss and book for the tour to Butlins Minehead.
